The 5-in-1 Breast Milk Drug & Alcohol Rapid Test Cassette is a rapid screening test for the qualitative detection of selected drugs, drug metabolites and alcohol in human breast milk.
Depending on the supplied test configuration, the cassette can screen for:
Only three drops of breast milk are required. Drug-panel results are read at 5 minutes, while the alcohol result is compared with the supplied colour chart between 3 and 5 minutes.
This product provides a preliminary screening result only. Positive or unexpected results should be confirmed using an appropriate laboratory method. A healthcare professional or paediatrician should always be consulted when determining whether breast milk is safe for an infant.
